Blog for the average christian

Well, today I am starting my foray into Christian blogging. I have never really been a blogger, amazing considering I work in a high tech field, but I feel that God is leading me to share my views and I think that this might be a good proving ground for this.
What do I want to share; the practical application of the Bible in today’s world. I have found that there seems to be a large amount of teaching on Biblical doctrine, and on what the Bible says you should do/ say/ be/ whatever, but not a lot of information on how to do this, particularly in this century.
I’m not trying to retranslate the Bible. I don’t want to start some new theological thinking on what the Bible was trying to say to the people who first read it almost 3000 years ago. I just want to work my way through what it is trying to say to me and maybe some other people along the way.
I chose the name Netzarim because it means Nazarene in Aramaic. Aramaic was the language of Jesus and he was considered a Nazarene because he was from Nazareth. Common theology holds that the origins of Christianity were Nazarene Judaism and that the early followers of Christ were called Netzarim.
The name I chose for the blog is Kristyane because that is the Aramaic word for Christian, which is also what the first believers were called. The distinction is, as far as I can tell, that the first followers (read apostles) were called the Netzarim and the first believers (read converts) were called Kristyane.
The Lord God only knows were this blog my lead. I know that I certainly don’t.
